Where is rg3 projected to go in the draft

He wrote late last month that Luck may as well start looking at houses in Indianapolis when the Colts secure the top pick. I agree. RG3 is a great quarterback, but teams and scouts have been drinking the Andrew Luck Kool-Aid for too long at this point.

After the season he's had, would the Rams consider pulling the plug on Sam Bradford? To put it bluntly, the answer is no. It's way too early for the Rams to give up on Bradford, and trading him just isn't very practical at this point. Nobody's going to give up anything of value for Bradford. Having both Bradford and RG3 on the payroll is another thing that's not practical. The Rams would have to give RG3 a similar deal. If they were to do that, they would have way too much money committed to two quarterbacks.

Now this would be interesting. The Vikings just drafted Christian Ponder with the No. Ponder has the potential to be a serviceable NFL quarterback, but he doesn't have star potential quite like Griffin's. I personally think the Vikings would focus their sights on a left tackle or a wide receiver, but it would be foolish to rule them out of the chase for RG3.

Colt McCoy has very little upside as an NFL quarterback, and Cleveland's offense is sorely in need of a star player it can rally around. Therefore, the prospect of drafting RG3 may be too good to pass up. He has enough talent to give the entire Browns offense a boost, and he's a player the Browns could build around for years to come.

You just can't say that about McCoy. He's solid enough when he's healthy, but he's nothing special. Instead of trusting that he will get better, the Browns may figure they're better off drafting a quarterback they know will get better.

Blaine Gabbert has been pretty awful in his rookie campaign, so you obviously have to wonder if the Jaguars will move on from him the first chance they get. Especially seeing as how the guy who drafted Gabbert, Jack Del Rio, is no longer in charge. No reason to go back.

He will be the second QB taken this year or next. Already has a Heisman and a degree…coming back can only hurt him. Mel Kiper and his head of hair has him projected to go to Miami. He put Baylor on the map…. The only way this guy becomes a Dolphin is if they trade up, which that organization rarely does well. I would have no issue with that. Let Peyton work with him for a year or two and then ride into the sunset.

Is it me, or is the upcoming draft going to be much more hyped, scrutinized and watched than any in recent years? His own coaches took the ball out of his hands with the game on the line. Second half play selection was 23 runs, 9 passes. It depends on the team. But I expect the Colts will trade their pick.

And I believe the team that will trade up will do so to get Luck. The more I see it, the more I think that both will be successful. RG3 will go number 1. Both of the those QBs will end up going in the draft — no matter who holds the picks. Height, and pocket presence is going to be an issue. A frequent complete with a movin QB is that its difficult for receivers to gauge where the release point is and whether to keep moving or break off routes.

Brady, Brees, Rothlisberger are best with moving around, but basically stay in the pocket. Rodgers can roll then throw, but his release is so fast. I believe he may be the most scrutinized prospect at the combine, along with Blackmon, Morris Claiborne and Reily Reiff. Griffith actually projects 15 to Seattle, but with a great combine, interview, Cleveland could conceivably take him at 5 — meaning McCoy may be out of their immediate future plans.

The extra number 1 pick this year no. Just come to Washington already. We already have the defense in place. But for athletes, I think they have to strike when the iron is hot. The guy was flat out sensational last night. Unless he goes to the Redskins. No reason to be all for a guy staying in school in this case…. He is a junior based on his eligability. Tebow will be a bust, Troy Smith would have been a bust if any team thought he was going to be good. Even the dynamic players who become successfull in the NFL have to change their game to become prototypical passers, Vick was a joke in Atlanta, became elite in Philly when he learned how to pass first.

Cam Newton is phenomonal mainly because at such a young age he has the ability to understand when to run and when not to as well as his ability to drop back, stay in the pocket and throw. Griffin may not have the complete package that Andrew Luck has, but he would be worthy of the first overall pick in any other year.

While Griffin still has a year of eligibility left, few would fault him for leaving on top, especially considering that he's already received his bachelor's degree as well as an MA in his time in Waco.

The QB situation at the top of this year's draft is fairly unsettled after likely No. The next four teams -- the St. It's very possible that one of the QB-needy teams later in the draft, like the Washington Redskins, the Miami Dolphins or the Seattle Seahawks, will move up to try and select Griffin or USC's Matt Barkley, another junior who will have to decide whether he wants to return to school next season.
