What we have been able to accomplish and the role DC Universe Online has been able to fill during this time has, in my opinion, been nothing short of wonderful.
My hope is that whatever peace or release or community we found this last year will carry us forward, stronger, into better times. If paragraphs are not your thing, maybe calendars are! Thank you for reading this July Development Update. Please join the discussion on the official forums!

I would complain about them selling source marks except if not for the fact that I bought a skip to 30 token to avoid the repugnant Toyman missions.
The game is dependent on people who spend enormous sums monthly on such things and I'm not aware of a "free to play" or even MMO that doesn't use this business model. Actually, I'm kind of surprised it took this long to get here to be honest. On the other hand, I have a lot of alts and I enjoy playing the non-endgame content this won't help.
I wish they could find a balance with "pay to advance" and supporting parts of the game that encourage a healthy, growing community. Selling Source Marks is one of the least demoralizing aspects of the game Control Creed , Aug 7, I have to admit; I was truly thrown off the track when I saw Source Marks in the Marketplace for sale.!
I have mixed feelings about it; my knee-jerk reaction was: WHY? This puts another nail in the coffin for playing lower level content, as players can buy Source Marks and use the Mechanical Vendor to level up without playing it. My Zen reaction was: Well, this is another way for the game to make money via the Marketplace and if players want to spend that type of money on Source Marks, so be it.
I guess I will just have to wait to see how this goes Rainnifer , Aug 7, Same prices, of which we have another wall for lower players, that if they haven't completed the set main or alt , they must pay max price, as they do not have the feat for the gear. Surely we can encourage all players to play all content if we reward them with enablement to pay for things in the game they need. Queue for anything, get a mission for anything OW.. Again I can't speak highly enough about the new systems, I came back in Spring, and its those systems that have kept me coming back regular playing since Spring.
I regard them like.. DCUOs other great achievements.. The Armories.. Perhaps the above could be an extension of feats rewarding alts when unlocked.. Just a few thoughts that have been buzzing round in my head for the last 2 or 3 months that I needed to share. Have a great and bizzare day! Sigma I am aware I am pretty unique with the amount of chars I have.
But even with that consideration.. I just wonder why a relevancy window for source marks on lower content? SigmaAtom , Nov 30, MrMigraine , Nov 30, The reason behind the entire system Relevancy" system was a group of players coming to the forums with complaints. Then buy the higher CR armor to increase their stats without ever having to run the newer missions.
Now let me break this down for you a bit 1. They could breeze through the lower content, of course, and earn marks which eventually would allow the purchase of better armor. Now this is where the relevancy system fall flat on its face That entire relevancy system was designed to ensure players were running the new content if they ever hoped to increase CR.
But look at what any player can do these days: 2a. Pull out credit card and buy a quick advance right to CR This idea was requested by players with multiple alt that wanted to skip things like the tutorials pre 30 level and get to the higher tiers faster.
